About the House
Casa Della Mura is a charming 2 bedroom townhouse in the heart of the old town of Acquasparta, a lovely little Umbrian hill town. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and the bathroom / wetroom. The master bedroom has a large double bed, bedside tables and lamps and a wardrobe, there is a large window with external shutters that look out onto the little alleyways of the old town. In the other bedroom there is a single bed, wardrobe and glass doors that lead to the small balcony at the front of the house, this also looks down onto a small piazza. From the landing at the top of the stairs between the two bedroom you enter the wetroom / bathroom, fully tiled with a large shower area.
On the first floor, you enter into the kitchen complete with 4 ring gas hob, extractor, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, plates, cutlery, pots, pans, etc, etc, everything you will need for your holiday stay. From the kitchen you enter into the dining / living room, a comfortable airy room with a large sofa, dining table and chairs, Flat screen TV, DVD, Stereo and lots of books, games and DVDs.
We put chairs and a table onto the steps outside, quite big enough, then you can eat, drink, read and say buongiorno to everyone passing, and watch a real slice of Italian town life.
Being in the centre of Acquasparta you are only a stroll away from the restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, banks, etc. Although there is no outside private space at Casa della mura the town park is only a 5 minute walk and the comune pool complex is about a 10/15 minute walk away, this complex is very good, there are 2 large pools and a childrens pool, lifeguards are always on duty, a cafe/bar on the grounds and lots of lounge space and shady areas for when it gets a bit too hot. Beside the pools there are basket ball courts, tennis courts, and playing fields, there is an entrance fee for the pool complex and it is open from June till the end of August.
